¡¡(By Staff Member) After nearly one year¡¯s construction, FSO Optical Fiber Expansion Project Phase III has been successfully completed and put into production. The capacity of production at FSO has thereafter been doubled compared to the original base, up to 3 million core kilometers, which immediately ranks FSO in the third place among optical fiber producers in the nation.

¡¡Since the entrance of China into WTO, tycoons and moguls from the overseas optical communication industry have started to embark the bank of the domestic fiberoptic market. Both internal and external optical fiber manufacturers are now on the same startup line, which ensues even harsher competition among the companies. The continual augment of the total number of customers in the domestic sector of both telecommunication and mobile business, however, also means a lasting expansion of effective demands in the market. In face of the market competition, Futong Group has been keeping calm and cool and confronted the difficulty head-on by trying to transform the market pressure into dynamics for sustainable development.
